General Conference

For Emma’s big 8th birthday, we gave her a trip to Salt Lake to go to General Conference. It was just the two of us, one great big mommy daughter date. It was so much fun. We drove first to Rexburg and I showed her around campus (she is a little obsessed with Rexburg, knowing that she was born ‘at BYU-Idaho’). Anyway, it was lots of fun and I am so excited to do it two more times! (With Kaylee and Eli.)

DSCN0273It just so happened that the cast of BYU’s “Studio C” was just off temple square. Emma got to meet them and get their autographs. If you haven’t seen Studio C, watch it. It’s like Saturday Night Live but funny and clean. It’s a family favorite! Thanks for the great trip Emma, love you!

Emma’s Big Day

I can’t believe I forgot to post this! I mean, I didn’t actually forget, let’s be honest, I’m just really inconsistent with blogging. Anyway, Emma turned 8 in August and she chose to be baptized the day after her birthday. It was such a wonderful day. She had so much family support and lots of friends too! I know that she felt so special, she was just beaming all day.

Back to School

The girls started school (3 months ago…) excited to get to be with friends and play. Emma is in grade three this year and Kaylee is in grade one. I can’t believe how big they are. Tonight, as I was tucking Kaylee in, we were discussing how much I love her and why. Ultimately, I told her that I love her and will always because she is my baby. Then, as I was rubbing her face, it hit me. This big girl used to be my little baby! It was weird. Anyway, some pics of my sweet girls on their first day. Also, please note the cuteness of the little brother. He loves his sisters so much.
